Joseph Penrod is a 7-year old boy who was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) two years ago. DMD is a progressive, degenerative muscle disease. There is no cure.

Since his diagnosis, his family, friends and an army of volunteers have been working to fund research, to raise awareness of the disease and to fund Joseph's care and treatment.

There is a lot of research going on around the world to find a treatment or a cure. But there is still much more to be done. We are in a race against the clock, and we need everyone to be a part of the team.

Please join us in our quest to help Joseph and so many other children like him. Our mission seems daunting at times, but we know that the cure may be just one more researcher, one more volunteer, one more caring group of people, or one more dollar away. We will find a cure.
